Go the following website, PBIS World (Links to an external site.), and complete the following:

  • On the home page, select a behavior that you feel that you would need assistance in dealing with in your classroom. 
  • Once you select the behavior (by clicking directly on the behavior name), it will take you to a list of behaviors that a student with that behavior might be experiencing or how it may manifest itself in your classroom. 
    • Identify at least 5 of these behaviors that a teacher might see in the classroom. (5 points)
  • Go to Tier One Supports and identify three strategies that you could use with this behavior. 
    • Click directly on each of the strategies and it will provide you with the why, when, and how to do the strategy.  (3 points)
    • List one Why, one When, and one How for each of the three strategies in Tier One. (9 points)
  • Go to Tier Two and identify one strategy that you could use if your three strategies in Tier One did not work. (1 point)
    • Click directly on the strategy and it will provide you with the why, when, and how to do the strategy.  
    • List one Why, one When, and one How for the strategy you selected in Tier Two.  (3 points)
  • Go to Tier Three and identify one strategy that you could use if your strategy in Tier Two did not work. (1point)
    • Click directly on the strategy and it will provide you with the why, when, and how to do the strategy.
