This assessment task is an academic essay on an organization operating in Sultanate of Oman which makes use of public relations and its PR types. This organization can be public, private, profit/ not-for profit organization.
The purpose of this assignment is to familiarize you with the different categories of publics (including employee, government, community, media & customer), their significance, and why organizations communicate with them.
You are required to submit a written essay of 800 words which examines the various categories/types of publics of an organization. The essay should emphasize the significance of those publics and suggested ideas/ strategies to keep positive mutual relationships (for example, to present free workshops to the members of community). The essay should include, but not limited to, the following:
1. A title page
2. Brief information about the organization and its nature of work.
3. An in-depth discussion on the key publics of the organization including employee, government, community, media & customer.
4. At least one suggested idea/ strategy for each key public to maintain the mutual relationships between the organization and the public.
5. A list of references that you referred to in your assignment.
